The Webster University Media Center is a large collection of photography, lighting, and audio equipment, along with related adapters, wires, and other resources. The Media Center is located in Sverdrup Hall and is available to Webster staff, students, and faculty. However, some equipment may have restrictions on its use, check the Media Center Policies link below for more information on what items you may not be allowed to place reservations on.

An individual may not reserve more than $25,000 worth of equipment at one time.

The Media Center uses WebCheckout to manage its reservations. You may be asked to set up an account for WebCheckout the first time you use it. To view the catalog or reserve equipment, click on "New Reservation" and choose "Media Center" as your checkout center. From there you can choose to browse the catalog and/or select what you need.

Reservations are time-based, so when making a reservation you will be asked to choose a pick up time and day. Pick up your equipment within an hour of the chosen time, or it will be cancelled. If you need something ASAP, call the Media Center at (314) 246-6967 so they can have your reservation ready to go quickly.

Most equipment is available for check out for 24 hours; some types of checkout can be longer.
