Annual Pass

Request an annual pass by emailing circ@webster.edu. You will receive a response within two business days. The ID card will expire in one year and may be renewed if the visitor is in good standing. Visitors must comply with all Library and University policies. The Library reserves the right to revoke access at any time.

Minors

Minor children of students, faculty, and staff are welcome to visit the Library. They will not need to secure advance permission or obtain an ID card. They must enter the Library with and be supervised by a parent or adult caregiver at all times.

Visiting scholars under the age of 18 may visit the Library. All minors under the age of 18 who are not enrolled in the University, including those who have been issued an InfoPass by their home library, must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver at all times. Access should be requested by the parent or adult caregiver according to the above procedures.

Current Webster and Eden students, faculty, and staff have priority in the use of all Library facilities and collections.

Borrowing from the libraries

Alumni and retirees

Alumni and retirees of Webster University and Eden Theological Seminary may check out circulating books and scores from the Webster University Library or the Eden Theological Seminary Library. All other materials may be used in the libraries only.

New alumni or retiree ID cards will need to be added to the Webster University Library System. Please visit the Level 1 Circulation Desk for library borrowing.

Retirees with the Emeritus or Staff Associate designation retain faculty and staff privileges.

Visitors

Most of the Library's resources are available for use on the premises except in cases where priority must be given to Webster or Eden classes or where contractual agreements bar us from allowing use by outside users. Webster University Library is a member of the MOBIUS Consortium and the InfoPass cooperative borrowing system along with many school, public, and academic libraries in the area. Check with your local library first to determine how to request materials from us. InfoPass guests may check out up to four books from the circulating collection at Webster University Library. Renewals are not permitted.

Visitors may purchase borrowing privileges for 6 months for $25 or 1 year for $50 in order to check out books and scores. These privileges do not extend to AV, ILL, or MOBIUS borrowing.

Audio-visual items may be used in the library only. You will be required to leave your photo I.D. card at the Level 1 Circulation Desk. Check-out is not available.
