Printing is available to Webster University students, staff, and faculty. There are printers in the 2nd Floor eCommons area, the 24/7 computer lab, and on the lower level.
(Colored printing is available at Mail & Copy, or Reeg Academic Resources.)

The University has recently implemented Papercut for printing. These are the basic steps to using Papercut to print:
Log in to Papercut on the computer with your Connections information.
When you go to print your document(s), choose the printer named "Secureprint_STL"
Tap your student ID or Webster Mobile app where indicated on the printer that you want to pick your documents up at. (Or log in manually if there no symbol on the printer.)
If this is the first time you are using Papercut, the printer will ask if you want to associate this ID with an account. Select "yes" and enter your Connections information. Then tap your ID again.
Select the documents you want to print, then hit the "print" button on the bottom right of the screen.
Some fun facts about Papercut!
With Papercut, you can retrieve documents you print from any printer across campus! So, for example, if you sent a print job from Sverdrup, you can pick it up from one of the library printers.
You can retrieve multiple print jobs at once with one log in. Just select all of them at the printer when you go to retrieve your printed documents and hit print.
When you log in to Papercut on library printers, you can also make copies and scan documents to send them to your email
There are scanners in the 24/7 lab, eCommons, and in the viewing alcoves on the 1st floor that will scan to the attached computer.
You can also scan from the printers by logging in to Papercut on them. The printers are configured to send scanned documents to your Webster email. Please be patient, it can sometimes take a while for the documents to arrive.

A quick gif of using the scanning software on the printers, from Papercut.
Place your item face down on the scanner bed, with the top of the document aligned with the arrow. Anything within a half inch of the edge of the scanner bed will not scan so place your documents carefully.
Press the PDF Scan Start button on the scanner (pictured, furthest on the left).
If you need to save your item as an image, open the Scan IJ Utility (search “scan” in the Windows search bar) and choose your document type to be “Photo” then scan your item. It will save as a JPEG.
If you need to scan multiple pages, place the next page down and hit the PDF Scan Start button again. When you have scanned all of your pages, press the Scan Finish button (pictured, second from the left). Your document will be saved to the computer by default.
You can now make copies at the library from the printers!
Load your document into the document feeder in a profile orientation.
If you are copying a photograph or object, place them onto the scanning bed.
Log in to the printer with your ID or by typing in your login information.
Choose "Copy" from the options presented.
Check to make sure all settings are correct.
If your document is double sided, make sure the "2-sided to 2-sided" setting is selected.
If you loaded your document any way other than profile, make sure the original load direction is correct.Choose "Binding positions" and then "Original direction" and make sure the image matches your document.
You can view a preview of your copy by hitting the "Basic" button at the top of the screen.
Specify the number of copies with the gray "No of Sets" box in the top right corner.
Hit start to make your copies.
There are computers throughout the library, with the majority of them being on the lower level, in the 24/7 computer lab, and in the 2nd floor eCommons area. Current student, staff, and faculty will have to log in to the computer with their Webster Connections credentials. (Visitors can ask for guest access from a librarian.)
If the computer isn't showing anything on the monitor, follow these steps.
When you have finished using a library computer, make sure to log out. Otherwise, anyone who shows up to use the computer next will be able to see your logins and any files you downloaded!
