It provides citation data for all 22,500 active titles such as journals, conference proceedings and books in Scopus and provides an alternative to the impact factor.

A Modern Herbal
An online version of A Modern Herbal written by Maud Grieve in 1931. Includes an index of over 800 plants and herbs plus descriptions of 44 poisonous plants. Indexed entries contain: scientific name and natural habitat, physical description, constituents (i.e. forms the medicinal part can take such as oil, fiber, or crystals), medicinal actions/use, and dosage information.
National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine
Produced by the National Institutes of Health, this site focuses on research in alternative and complementary medicine and disseminiation of findings. The CAM Citation Index finds citations for research literature related to alternative and complementary medicine. An excellent resource for locating scientific and medical literature on this topic.

The full-text of the organization's proceedings are available via Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America (PNAS Online), a database accessible to Webster students, faculty, and staff. A good source for career information as well.
