Choose Your Own Book Book Club is a "choose your own" style book club to bring together fellow readers across campus. The club is open to everyone!
Pick any book you want that fits the month's prompt and come share your thoughts! Let other members know whether you'd recommend it (or not!). This is your chance to discover new books or authors and share what you are reading. There’s no assigned book—just fun, relaxed conversations with other book lovers about what you choose to read!
All meetings will be held in-person in the Emerson Library Classroom (Room 110) at 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. on the last Tuesday of each month during the Spring 2026 semester.
Choose a book that has been challenged or banned at some point, and explore the ideas that made it controversial.
Choose a lighthearted mystery featuring an amateur detective, a charming setting, and just the right amount of suspense.
Choose a book based on a real-life story that offers insight into someone’s experiences, struggles, and accomplishments.
Choose a collection of poems that is either compiled by one author or that is organized around a common theme, style, or subject.
