The collection
The audio-visual collection consists of Blu-Rays, DVDs, CDs, CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs, videotapes, LP records, and laser discs. The Blu-Rays, DVDs, CDs, CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs, videotapes, and laser discs are located on the 1st floor of the Library. The LP records are located on the Lower Level of the Library.
Searching the collection
There are 2 methods to electronically search the collection:
- Library Catalog
- Video Search Express (search for films by keyword, genre, language or original language)
Loan policy for current Webster and Eden students, faculty, and staff
- Up to 20 items of each format for 7 days at a time (with the exception of LP records which circulate for 14 days) .
Loan policy for others
- Other Libraries: Our media is not available for interlibrary loan or for loan to individuals other than Webster and Eden students, faculty, and staff.
- Webster alumni
- General public
Listening or viewing audio-visual media in the library
The following are ways in which you may listen and/or view the collection while in the library. Not all locations have the ability to play all types of media.
- Listening/viewing rooms on the 1st floor.
- Individual listening/viewing carrels in the Listening/viewing area, 1st floor.
- Group study rooms located throughout the building.
- All public computers may be used to view DVD's and CD's.
