Michael Flanagan |
A native of St. Louis, Michael Flanagan was lured back to the area by Sr. Marita Woodruff in 1965 to work with a summer program called Theater Impact. In 1966, he became the founding artistic director of the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis and chair of the college's theater arts department. Flanagan resigned in 1969 to direct the theater program at Purdue University. He died of cancer in 1993.
