Collection description

Date(s): Mainly 1960s and 1970s.

 

Administrative/Biographical History: The College School was established in September 1963 as an experimental laboratory for teaching and learning. The college administration had planned to close the school after the 1967 spring semester but kept it open due to pressure from parents and faculty. The school was eventually closed after the Spring 1979 semester. It now operates independently of Webster University in a separate location.

 

Scope/Content: Includes miscellaneous materials related to the program when it was operated by Webster College. Contains overviews and self-study reports, correspondence, and issues of a newsletter published by the College School.
