Collection description
Administrative/Biographical History: The College of Fine Arts was formerly established during the 1993-1994 school year by the Board of Trustees to include the departments of Art, Music, and Theatre and Dance. Peter Sargent served as the Acting Dean the first year and was subsequently named Dean in 1995. In September 2000, the College was renamed the Leigh Gerdine College of Fine Arts after the former Webster President.
Scope/Content: This finding aid emphasizes the fine arts in general; separate aids are available for the individual departments mentioned above. Included are miscellaneous items, such as calendars, clippings, and fine arts programs.
