Collection description
Date(s): mainly 1960s to present
Administrative/Biographical History: The Art Department occupied the Thompson Carriage House for several years through the 1960s and 1970s. It moved to the Plymouth Building in 1978. The Cecille R. Hunt Art Gallery was opened March 23, 1983. The Plymouth Building, which had been leased from the Webster Groves School District, was sold to condominium developers in the mid-1980s. The Visual Arts Studios and Cecille R. Hunt Gallery moved to the Big Bend Building (formerly The College School location) in 1988.
Scope/Content: Contains primarily exhibit publicity from the 1960's to the present.
