The original Wright Building was completed in 1906. The surrounding towers known as the Arcade Building were built in 1919.
In June 2014, Webster University announced that the Arcade Building will eventually replace the existing Old Post Office campus to form the Gateway Campus of the university. The Arcade Building opened for classes in Spring 2016.
