The information that follows is for current students, faculty, and staff of Webster University and Eden Theological Seminary. Policies and procedures may vary for students attending institutions in other MOBIUS clusters. Please contact your college or university library to see what MOBIUS features apply to you.
St. Louis Area Campuses
Students, faculty, and staff at St. Louis area campuses may request books
online from any participating MOBIUS library. A special courier system delivers
items (free-of-charge to the user) within three to four work days to any of
the libraries in MOBIUS, including the Emerson Library at Webster University
and the Luhr Library at Eden Theological Seminary. You may also borrow items
in person at any MOBIUS library by presenting your university/seminary ID
card with a current validation sticker.
If you need a book that is not available at a MOBIUS library, you will need to use our Interlibrary Loan Service. Articles must be ordered through our Interlibrary Loan Service; they cannot be ordered through the MOBIUS system. Missouri Extended Campuses
Current Webster University faculty, students, and staff anywhere in Missouri
may borrow items in person at any MOBIUS library by presenting their university/seminary
ID card with a current validation sticker. You may also order books online
and have them delivered to any MOBIUS library. Remember that you are affiliated
with the Bridges cluster. You may, however, pick up the requested items at
any cluster library in MOBIUS. For example, Rolla students are members of
the Bridges cluster but may select the pickup location as the University of
Missouri--Rolla library in the Merlin cluster. A list of the participating campuses in Missouri is available.
Extended Campuses Outside of Missouri
Students, faculty, and staff at extended campuses outside of Missouri must
use our Document Delivery Service to
order books owned by the Eden-Webster Library System. Articles, whether or
not owned by the Eden-Webster Library System, may be ordered through Document
Delivery. If you have questions, contact the Document Delivery Office at (314)

To see if another library in MOBIUS has a book you need, you will need to switch to the MOBIUS catalog. At the top of our Bridges screen, click on the "Search MOBIUS" link as shown below.

Do a search in the catalog and display a record for a book on the screen. Make sure this is one not owned by either Webster or Eden and the status is "available". Press the "Request This Item" link.

On the screen that appears, you will need to select Bridges and click on the "Submit" button.
On the request form that appears, you will need to enter your name and student, faculty, or staff i.d. number. Follow those seven numbers with the suffix "ewl" which is the Eden-Webster Library System designation.
Select a pickup cluster from any of the MOBIUS clusters. Once you select a cluster, the pickup location drop-down menu will show you a list of all of the libraries in that particular cluster. In the example below, you see a list of all the pickup locations in the Bridges cluster.

You can see a list of all the clusters and their members by clicking the Members link at the bottom of any MOBIUS page.
Once you have made your selections, submit your request. Most items should arrive within three to four work days.
