Searching in the MOBIUS catalog
The MOBIUS catalog offers most of the same search features, buttons, displays, etc. as the Webster-Eden Library System catalog. For a review, return to the section on Searching in the Library Catalog. The major difference concerns the way in which the results are displayed. Let's see an example. Suppose we search in the MOBIUS catalog for materials on the topic "globalization". Below is a book that will appear:

If you follow the "Display Holdings of MOBIUS Libraries" link, you will see the screen below (partial screen displayed). Each library that owns a copy of the book is listed, the call number for the book is given, and information concerning the book's availability is indicated to the right. Some materials are not available for loan; check with the library who has it to see if you can visit the library and access the material while you're there.
Unfortunately, the names of the libraries are often abbreviated. Simply click on the abbreviation and a box will pop up with the complete name.
An option to request the item is listed in the center of the screen. Borrowing from MOBIUS libraries will be discussed next.
