Audiovisual Services at the Eden-Webster Library System
The collection
Our audiovisual collection consists of videotapes, DVDs, CDs, CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs, LP records, laser discs, 16mm films, etc. Each AV item in our collection is listed in the library catalog. All media materials, with the exception of 16mm films are shelved on the 1st floor of Webster University Library.

General public
A general public user may view or listen to audiovisual materials from our collection in the Library after leaving his or her photo I.D. card at the 1st floor Service Desk. Any member of the public who has further questions about these privileges should call the Webster University Library Service Desk at 314-968-6952.
Locating videos in the Library
The Library owns a large collection of videocassettes, DVDs, and laserdiscs which is shelved on the 1st floor.

Listening/viewing facilities
Emerson Library offers listening/viewing facilities in the media area on the first floor of the library. There are 3 group listening/viewing rooms that accomodate 3 to 4 people and several individual listening/viewing carrels.
Video loan policy
Current Webster and Eden students, faculty, and staff may borrow up to four videos, four DVDs, and four laserdiscs for 3 days at a time.
We encourage all current Webster faculty teaching in the U.S. to place reservations for the DVDs and videotapes they wish to use in class. More detailed information about this service is available on the DVD and Videotape Reservations page.
Videos, DVDs, laserdiscs and films are not available for interlibrary loan or for loan to individuals other than Webster and Eden students, faculty, and staff.
