Services for Alumni

  • Both Webster University and Eden Theological Seminary Alumni are eligible for alumni library services.

Using the libraries' facilities

Alumni are welcome to visit either library and are eligible to check out books from the Webster-Eden Library Collections.

 

Current Webster and Eden students, faculty, and staff have priority in the use of all library facilities and collections.

 

Alumni will need use a Webster University issued alumni photo I.D. card in order to enter Emerson library.  The Webster University Public Safety Office at 572 Garden Ave issues these I.D. cards.  Call them at 314-246-7430 for more information.  

 

Borrowing from the libraries

You use your Webster University issue alumni photo i.d. card as your alumni library card.  You may check out circulating books and scores from our library or the Eden Theological Seminary Library. All other materials may be used in the libraries only.

To apply for a card...

  • Please visit the Webster University Public Safety Office and ask for your Webster University or Eden Theological Seminary Alumni I.D. card.
  • Bring your new Alumni I.D. card to the 1st floor Service Desk at the library and we'll turn it into your Alumni Library card. 

Access to electronic resources

Library staff may log an Alumni into online databases. Due to contractual agreements, off-campus access to online databases is not available unless you are a member of the Research Fellows Program.

 

Getting research assistance

Librarians are available to offer assistance in answering reference questions and showing alumni how to use electronic resources.
