Burning an Audio CD

Burning an Audio CD on Windows with Sonic RecordNow! 7

  1. Launch RecordNow! from the Programs Menu.
  2. From the Quick Start Links on the home menu, Choose "Audio Disc"
    • If RecordNow! asks if you want it to search for music on the computer, tell it NO.
    Select Data CD Project
  3. Insert the music cd that contains the track you want to record.
  4. Highlight the track under "Music on System" column that you want to add to your disc and then click on the "Add" Button. Wait while RecordNow! prepares the audio track.
    • If you wish to add tracks from different CDs, eject the CD, replace it with another and repeat this step until all the tracks you want on your disc appear under the "Music to Burn" column.
    Select Data CD Project
  5. When all the files you want to burn in this session appear in the Sonic window, click on the red burn button.
  6. After a few minutes the message "Burn completed, your disc was created successfully".
  7. The CD-R drive should automatically open.
  8. Click on the button that says "Done."
