The main purpose of the library's "on-campus" collection is to meet the academic needs of Eden Theological Seminary and Webster University. While materials of general interest are added on occasion, emphasis is placed on those resources which support study and research at the two institutions.

This philosophy holds true for Internet sites selected for inclusion on our Subject specific Web sites. For each subject area, we have tried to provide a selective list of the major sites which in turn will link you to areas of individual interest. Preference will be given to sites which provide authoritative information related to the curriculum. Additional criteria for selection include:

• comprehensiveness; sites which offer comprehensive links to resources in the area will be favored over including many individual links ourselves.

• reliability; sites which are consistently "up and running" when connections are attempted.

• timeliness; sites whose information is consistently kept up-to-date.

We welcome suggestions from Eden and Webster faculty, staff, and students for additional links to be considered for this Web site. You may choose to send a message to the librarian who serves as the department liaison for that subject area, or to kgaynor@webster.edu for general interest items.
