Request an article (If it's not online or at the library)

First, be sure to check the A-Z List of Journals/Magazines/Newspapers to ensure the text is not online nor at the library. You may also press the Article Linker button that appears in many of our databases when you do a search. Article Linker indicates whether or not we have the article you need either online or in print at the library. To request periodical articles which are not owned by the Eden-Webster Library System either in electronic format or in paper:

St. Louis-area Webster and Eden patrons:

• Complete a separate Article Request Form for each item.
• Allow 5-7 business days for article to arrive.
• Most articles will arrive electronically and be posted in Adobe PDF to a secure website. As each article arrives, we will email you instructions on how to retrieve the article.

Webster extended campus and online course patrons:

• Complete a separate Article Request Form for each item.
• Allow 5-7 business days for article to arrive.
• Most articles will arrive electronically and be posted in Adobe PDF to a secure website. As each article arrives, we will email you instructions on how to retrieve the article.
• Copies of articles from the Library's print periodicals can also be requested. We can generally post these within 2 business days.
