| Request a book - International campus patrons | |

What can I request?Due to the high cost of international shipping, books cannot be shipped. Webster University Fair Use Guidelines do allow us, however, to copy and post up to 25% of a book. Does the library own the book as an eBook?First, check to see if we have it available as an eBook by looking it up in the library catalog. If we don't have the book available as an eBook...Use your ClioWeb Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery account to request a book chapter.
How long do I have to wait before the chapter or chapters arrive? If the book from which you've requested a chapter or chapters is available from the Webster University library's collections we will copy and post the requested chapter or chapters within two business days (excluding weekends and holidays) of receiving your request. If, however, we have to find another library to lend us the book, it takes an average of 10 working days for us to receive the requested copy or copies. We will copy and post the requested chapter(s) on your ClioWeb ILL/DocDel account, then notify you via the e-mail you used when you created your ClioWeb ILL/DocDel account. You may also log into your ClioWeb ILL/DocDel account at any time in order to check on the status of your request(s). If we are unable to fill your request we will notify you via the e-mail you used when you created your ClioWeb ILL/DocDel account. You may also log into your ClioWeb ILL/DocDel account at any time in order to check on the status of your request(s). |
