Many databases supply a ready-to-use form which will fill in information about the journal article for you. The following will show you how to find out if the database you are using has such a form.

After finding an article that you want, click on the Article Linker icon. |

If the article is not available, you may request that the library order the article for you. The link "Article Request Form" on this page will not fill in the name of the journal, article title, and volume information for you. To see if the database has a request form that will be filled in automatically, close the Article Linker page and go back to your search results. |

On your search results page, find your article and click on the title to display the full record for the article. |

Look for the interlibrary loan request link. It may be at the very top or the very bottom of the record. |

Click the link to display the Interlibrary Loan Request Form. On the Interlibrary Loan Request Form, fill out the top section with your contact information. |

As you scroll down the form, you will see that the citation information for the article you want already appears on the form. When you have finished, click the Send or Submit button at the bottom of the form. |
