Gaining access to the online/full-text databases
Access to the subscription databases is available to current students, faculty, or staff using their Webster ID number. We recommend Microsoft's Internet Explorer for use with our databases.
Things to check before you call:
Did you type the letters EWL after your ID number?
Is your ID number correct?
Your Webster ID number is NOT the same as your Connections ID or your Social Security number.
Have you added webster.edu to your trusted sites?
Most problems are solved if you add webster.edu as a trusted site including cookie messages.

Are you using a web browser offered by an Internet provider such as America Online?
Proprietary browsers might not be fully compatible with the interactive features of our Web site. Problems are usually solved by switching to Microsoft Internet Explorer. Instructions for downloading these software packages are given on our Required software to use our site page.
Are you behind a firewall?
Some firewall software may interfere with access. Check with your company's computer support department for assistance or the manual and tech support available with any home firewall software.
