Webster and Eden Theses & Dissertations

Archives

Includes the University Archives, the George Adam Smith Archives, the Henrietta Maizner Hochschild Collection, and other special collections.

The Archives made possible through the generosity of Patricia and Charles S. Drew, Jr. in memory of his grandfather, the Very Rev. Sir George Adam Smith, D.D., Chaplain to the Kings.

Circulation/reserves/interlibrary loan

Cyber Café

Research facility available to current Webster and Eden students, faculty, and staff 24-hours a day; includes the Kaldi's Coffee Shop and vending machines.

Current periodicals & readers area

Includes over 1,500 journals, magazines, and newspapers.

eClassroom

Classroom for library instruction and, when not classes are not being held, a computer lab.

Library conference room

100 seat meeting room approximately 35' by 35'.

The Library Conference Room was made possible through the generosity of Ameren Corporation.

Listening/viewing center

Includes a growing collection of media as well as rooms or carrels for viewing and listening.

The Listening/Viewing Center was made possible through the generosity of Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc.

New books/display

The Display area was made possible through the generosity of The May Department Stores Company and its Famous-Barr, Lord & Taylor, and David's Bridal divisions.

Assistive technology room

Offers a variety of adaptive technology equipment to aid disabled users with reading, composing documents and using the Internet.

Curriculum collection

Children's literature, curriculum guides, kits, textbooks, and other materials to aid students in the School of Education

Special Collections/Archives reading room

Provides reading and research space for scholars using the Library's rare books and archives.

Faculty Development Center

Resources to aid faculty in instructional design, online and web-enhanced course development, instructional media production, workshops and training. Part of the Institute for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.

Reading room

Was made possible through the generosity of Marlyn and Alyn Essman.

Group study rooms

Eighteen rooms seating 4 to 10 people are located throughout the library. All rooms are fully wired for electronic as well as traditional research and study.

Group study rooms were made possible through the generosity of Earthgrains Company, US Bancorp, A.G. Edwards, and Nancy and Donald Ross.

Study areas

3rd floor study area was made possible through the generosity of E. Reuben & Gladys Flora Grant Charitable Trust.

Restrooms are available at the south end of the building by the elevator. A family/accessible restroom is also available in the first floor of the Cyber Café
