Provided in this guide is information to help make your experience at the Emerson Library as smooth and efficient as possible. To the left is an index of guides made to help step you through common procedures that you may encounter while using the library.

Asking for help

If you still have any problems after browsing this guide, do not hesitate to ask at the 2nd floor Reference desk or 1st floor Service Desk for assistance.

Location and hours of access

Cyber Café computers (located in Cyber Café, 1st and 2nd floors)

19 Windows PCs, 2 Macs.
Open 24-hours a day, seven days a week. After normal library hours, access is restricted to Webster and Eden students, faculty, and staff. See Cyber Café policies for more information.

eCommons computers (2nd floor)

26 Windows PCs Reference librarians available to assist with research.
Normal Library hours only.

Listening/Viewing computers (1st floor)

2 Windows PCs
Normal Library hours only.

Lower Level computers

8 Windows PCs. Easy access to bound periodicals.
Normal Library hours only.
