Mary Reddin, Webster's First Graduate to Enter the Sisters of Loretto Order

The first of Webster College Graduates to enter the Order of the Sisters of Loretto at the Foot of the Cross is Miss Mary Reddin A.B. ’24. She was received into the order on April 25, Loretto Foundation Day and received the name, Sister Mary Cecille. Her Parents Mr. & Mrs. J. K. Reddin of Denver, Colorado and her sister Miss Margaret Reddin a sophomore at Webster College attended the ceremony. ("Webster Graduate In Received into Order of Loretto", p. 4).

 

Mary Reddin's induction came just a year after she graduated from Webster College. She was an active student as indicated by the activities listed in the 1924 yearbook:
