  • Born: 1856; died: 1938
  • Born in St. Louis and grew up in Florissant
  • Entered the Loretto convent at age 17 and was a nun for 65 years
  • Was Superior of Loretto Academy on Lafayette Ave. from 1910-1916
  • Became Superior (aka President) of Webster College as construction on Webster Hall was nearing completion in 1916
  • "..during her sixty-five years as a religious she taught and studied every branch of learning, except mathematics, offered in the curricula of Loretto schools." 1
