Fight Song for Webster University |
Go, Go, Gorloks (2015- )
As part of Webster's centennial celebration, a contest was held for a fight song that could be used at sporting events. The contest was open to submissions from Webster faculty, staff, students and alumni. The winning composition, "Go, Go, Gorloks", was by an alumnus, Michael Hillstrom (BM '94). Hillstrom is currently chair of the Department of Music at McHenry County College in Illinois.
A similar contest to find a new alma mater was also held. Visit our Alma Mater for Webster University page to learn about the various school songs that have been associated with the college through the years.
