End Room Theatre at Webster University

The End Room Theatre was a large classroom on the lower level of the Administration Building (now Webster Hall). It was used for a variety of productions in the mid-1960s until the Loretto-Hilton Center opened in 1966.

In 1965, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch had an article about a student-run program called "Snack 'n Act" theater held in the End Room space. Drama students presented scenes from various works for anyone who wanted to attend. Afterwards the actors and the audience discussed the presentations while enjoying beverages and cookies. (Olson, 1965).
